April has been a very mixed month, with sunshine and showers. Great for the garden but frustrating to gardeners trying to work.  With the sun warming up the earth and the sudden showers the plants are really starting to take off, so it’s great if you are sowing grass seed right now. But watch out, as the showers are really heavy and can rot or destroy small flowers and seeds.  Let’s just hope, May will be the start of our summer and we can get out in the garden and enjoy our hard work.
